The Gaslight Project
(a)
I was asked by the group The Gaslight Project to create a logo for the band. They wanted a mix of the members various music tastes throughout. The “TGP” symbol is scratchy and sharp and stands out as the centrepiece of the band.
(b)
A big inspiration for the band was Reuben, taking examples from them and various other bands like Deftones and Metallica we landed on a very clean typeface for them to use where the logo is not suitable.
(c)
Elements from a guitars fretboard were used to add in extra flair to the logo design so when seen in full either on a website, or on some merch it would add a nice bit of detail.
(d)
I worked together with them again on the single cover art for the song Stuck in a Situation. Here I was given a brief of a burning rose which could double as both a cover for the single and use on merch.
